China Citic Bank, the Partner of FMG, Wins CCTV Awards

On January 6, 2010 China Citic Bank earned the award of "Top 10 Classic Cases of Sports Marketing" in CCTV summit forum on sports marketing and the 5th award presentation ceremony of the sports marketing classic cases with a series of golf activities it fully operates. The serial golf activities it operates include "Citic Bank China Amateur Golf Tour", "Citic Bank Junior Golf Tournament" and " Citic Bank Young Talents Golf Training Camp", and all of these are operated and disseminated by FMG(Forward Management Group).

CCTV summit forum on sports marketing and the 5th sports marketing classic cases selection is directed by the economic division and the equipment center of the SSGA, the market exploration division of the COC, proposed by the CCTV sports center and CCTV advertisement department, evaluated and judged by management case study center of Peking University, Cheung Kong graduate school of business, international company research center of Foreign Economic and Trade University and business brand strategy research institute of China Communication University, and operated by Beijing Aoshang sport cultural development company.

CCTV the 5th sports marketing classic cases selection abides by the principle of openness, fairness and objectivity, and take the marketing effect of the enterprises as the criteria of judgment. Top 10 classic cases of 2009 are selected after internet voting, preliminary selection, secondary evaluation and expert judgment.
China Citic Bank officially entered the golf industry since it hosted "China Citic Bank junior golf tournaments" in 2006. From 2007 it has been operating the "China Citic Bank young talents golf training camp"  in about 30 cities. In 2009 it announced that it will title sponsor national A-level event: "China amateur golf tour" for the next four consecutive years, which is the highest in level, the largest in scale, and has the widest influence. China Citic Bank has taken up two important parts: the fundamental part: the junior events and the transitional part: the amateur events, hence it has set up a huge platform for its brand publicity and customer service. This platform provides China Citic Bank with a 2/3 share of the golf event industry including junior events, amateur events and professional events, which has a deep brand effect, and will promote and accelerate the development of golf in china.
